My passion for artistic expression started well before my interest in technology and my career as an electrical engineer. I began drawing at an early age and still carry a sketchbook with me at the ready.

Artistic expression, to me, means experimenting with different styles, media and subjects. For photo realistic paintings, my goal is to capture the beauty of dramatic lighting on transparent and reflective objects. Plein air painting provides me with the opportunity to explore more impressionistic views of natural beauty.

I’ve exhibited my paintings in many Sonoma County venues including a local art gallery and a variety of local businesses. I’ve participated in city and county sponsored art events, where I have been recognized with first place and best-of-medium awards. In addition, my works have been displayed at First Friday Santa Rosa Art Walk as well as Sonoma County Arts Council member exhibits.
